We have a strong feeling SH69 has either a bad drive or bad hard drive connector cable.

Everytime a CPU intensive process begins the load just jumps. This means that the read and write process on the drive is heavy. The load shouldn't go up that much, but it does. That is what we have gathered.

This weekend we will replace the server hardware first and rule that out and if it continues Sunday, April 30, 2005, we will take it down for 3 hours to move data to a new drive.

I apologize for all the newbies on that server. Rest assured we are not ignoring these issues.
