I would think one would feel safer with online sales/
Online is secure and you have nothing to worry about if using a credit card.
If you call it in, what is stopping the person who ius talking the information from going on a shopping spree. It has happned to me with a representitve from verizon.
Belive me, anything that avoids human contact is safer.
But its all opinion.
