I just wanted to find out the reason for the sudden disability to check my pop mail via mail.domainname.com . This has caused quite a bit of configuration problems with my clients, as they suddenly could not check their emails the next day (it happened quite a few days back).
Yes, leaving out the 'mail.' will work - but why?
Must I just stick to domainname.com? Or is there some configuration problem or server DNS problem that caused this sudden POP3 problem?
