Well, it appears we have narrowed down the issues of why nifty has been slow lately. Apparently the primary drive was and is giving drive seek errors. We had no choice but to take down nifty at approx. 8am this morning. We have reinstalled the OS and cpanel on a new drive. We have connected the old primary drive and backup drive to the system and at this point we are doing a recovery of data.
If your sites start to load please don't panic if it shows old data. We had to restore data from an older backup drive since the newest one apparantly backed up corrupted data and is giving us errors when we try to copy it over.
If you have your site on your local computer and wish to upload it faster please do so. It is going to take us at least another 24 hours to sort thru this.
I know this isn't the best news but it is the very honest situation. I apologize we have only posted till now but I been in the data center working with the guys on best course of action.
