Question A better way of looking at bandwidth utilization?

Hey gang,

I was wondering if anyone has come up with a better way to "visually" track VPS bandwidth utilization, something more along the lines of MRTG.

I've looked at the traffic graphs offered in the Virtuozzo control center, they seem to provide a broad overview of traffic, but not as in-depth as I'd like.

I know since we're not on 'real' dedicated servers that it's useless to look at the switch port that the server is connected to, and I though about writing a script to look at the ifconfig traffic data but it's all in packets not bytes/bits.

Did I just overlook something? Any thoughts? I'd love to graph my total VPS traffic using MRTG or RRDTOOL. I'm sure that some other VPS folks would as well.
