What's the name of my email host? An easy question for everyone but me. I checked out the support page and found nada. Ditto with the "account activated" email.
Some background: I'm an Internet dilettante. I don't know the difference between PHP and perl. I don't know what a kernel is and I don't know whether Surpass has one. I'm currently trying to install
netpbm and I haven't a clue which flavor Surpass would like. Linux? FreeBSD? I'm lost. Network admins hate people like me. All I want to do is host my wife's art gallery and a blog for my friends.
So my suggestion: Err on the side of posting everything on the support page. That includes new customers' new email server, mail.surpass.com, which is listed on the intro page that describes the different packages, but isn't on the support page or the FAQ that I can find.
Otherwise Surpass so far is just fine.
