Alright, the solution was that I needed SSH access to each domain on my reseller account in order to use sFTP. I'm happy to report that "Eric B.", on your excellent support staff, took care of the issue and I'm happily using sFTP on all my accounts now.

So, recap, in order to use sFTP the client will need to purchase/enable SSH on each domain, not just the main reseller account.
