Hello,

I have a full backup of my website created in Cpanel however I cannot upload it in Cpanel. It states my Admin would have to do this in WHM. I have root access to WHM and in there it says:

"This feature will restore full backups, cpanel backups and cpanel move files in the format of: cpmove-user.tar.gz, user.tar.gz, backup-date_time_user.tar.gz

The files must be in one of these directories on the server: /home,/usr/home,/web,/home2,/home3,/root,/usr

You must upload the file to one of the above locations before using this feature. "

The problem is, I cannot access the root server to upload this file into /home etc. How can I upload a file directly into my root server? I tried using Smart ftp.

1) How do I access the root server to upload this file?
2) Is there any way I can upload this file to the cpanel account and unzip it from there?
