From your perspective, managing a VPS will be no different than a dedi.

Do you need to know Linux? Not any more than you do with any other plan at Surpass, due to the fact that they are fully managed.

Would you be wasting a great opportunity by not learning Linux? You bet. You'll have full access to your virtual server. Learn to make the most of it.

Personally, I love my dedi. It's little, but it suits my needs. Depending on the cost of the VPS plan that you are looking at, you may want to see what the next dedi sale brings. There is something special about having your own box, though with a VPS, you'll "virtually" have the same thing.

Then, David and I can help you break it, and support can put all of the pieces back together for you.

Failure is not an option. It comes standard with all Microsoft products.
