But by the logic of increasing the standard plans while not increasing OCs to match prior states (as jfacade mentioned), are they not losing economic value, and thus being "phased out" (perhaps "pushed into a dark corner" would be better terminology here) in favour of the other plans?
This is how I've felt about my OC10 recently, as far as the resource differentations are concerned. I do not compare to the Bronze Reseller here, as the difference is not really worth bickering too much about (USD 11 for 50 GB of bandwidth). Why I do not is because I only host four sites at present, inclusive of my own--the 15/site fee on Shared plans got to me, hence the move to a "valuable" Reseller plan earlier this year; with the advent of 10 addons per site by this upgrade, that problem had been nullified. Since this upgrade, I find that Shared Pro is only USD 6 more than an OC10, while it recieves twice the disk space, and thrice the bandwidth allotment.
While comparing the present Shared plans against the OC10 Reseller (were standard Resellers even affected?) may not be the most fair, I am still a bit vexed about this one, as OC10 feels completely worthless now compared to something that has been lesser (statistically speaking) in the past, even though the pricing has always been as it is now, to my knowledge.
