Well.. if you get the "Index of... " showing, then that usually means that there is no default webpage to display (such as index.htm, index.shtml, index.php, etc. ) in that directory and so it just displays the directory's contents instead.

This also means that the option to not allow indexing has not been set for that directory (or any of its parent directories) and to throw a Forbidden 403 Error Page instead. The Index Manager in cPanel is used to turn this on or off.

Usually what I do when moving sites between hosts is to add a line somewhere on the main webpage that says what host it is from. You can also ping your domain names to see where your PC is trying to pull the contents from.
