1. He means port speed, which all servers default to 10mbps and is upgradable for less than $100 (can't remember the amount, should be on the dedicated main page).

2. Anything that is safe to the network. For example, IRC is allowed, as everything that applies to service policy, but popular IRCs can be hazardious to the network. Things like SSH, etc are all standard and put to mind, you have complete control to what is on the server you own/lease.

So, yes, just about anything you wish, just don't risk the network, which is rarely done

3. All servers have a 100% managed service at no extra charge.

4. They are Linux, using centOS. Not sureif Red Hat is available, but the default (with some other options) is centOS.

5. I do not think their servers are branded, considering they build the server right as you place the order, hence the setup fee and waiting period of no longer than 24 hours.

Dedicated is very fun. I only wish I had the right funding for my "love"... my 1gb ram server I got from that sale that is to die soon Overall, Dedicated is WELL worth it. I loved it and it was my first time on dedicated, back in June 2006. Also, you can request a phone number to call support once you receive the server, which is reserved for dedicated clients only and offering more control
