at approximately 2am Saturday Oct 21 2006 we noticed pass52 sites where giving mysql errors. After further investigation we came to conclusion that the
entire mysql database main server was corrupted. Unfortunately backup had just finished running from it's 1am schedueled time. Which means it over wrote the corrupted databases. Our only alternative was to restore it from the weekly backup which was available. It was immediately restored after diagnose that the daily backup of the entire mysql was of no use.
We are investigating how it became corrupt to begin with to avoid this happening
in the future. This is a very rare and unfortunate. The backup is one week old so if you have a recent backup we can restore it for you. Simply upload it via ftp to your public_html and open a ticket so support can restore it for you. Be aware that this will cause anything present on that database to be over written.
We apologize for the major inconvenience this might cause but it is the truth on what happened. We will find out how it happened to prevent this in the future.
