By floating all your main divs left, it is hard to visulize what sequence you do want. The image indicates you want two skinny on the left under the header image, and the blog to align with the header image at the very top Try float: right; on the div you want on the right and at the same time clear: left; . Your container image has incorrect URL (double / [ / /] )
You can trouble shoot your boxes by applying a border: dashed blue 1px; and padding: -1px; (or decrease width by 2px) to verify their size and any overflow they might be containing.
Position to the parent container also is a good step.
