Same thing here. Starting two projects with it and just had to ask support to add the entry and thus it worked.
For anyone confused, ask support to add a wildcard DNS for the domain your using. My only complaint was that it is too easy

For anyone in need of plugins and/or themes (as well as nearly anything WPMU),
WPMUDEV.ORG is a good source and is free for the most part.
