Thanks for the reply. I tried a light grey, it clashed with everything while I was tired.

Currently, this is the color:
7D7D7D

as I got up on my list of grey shade into the lighter range, it starts to just not look right because of the elements around the content area. =/

979797, B0B0B0, C9C9C9........... way tooooooo bright, it hurt my eyes when I was tired. It seems that 7D7D7D was my best option to divide the navigation from content without clashing with the slogan text nor the body background color. Any suggestions for a better color hexcode would help. There are 100s of shades of light grey, I might have just tried the wrong ones.
