In PHPMyAdmin click on the DB name on the left hand menu. The next page that shows will be the list of all the tables in that database. Select the one that is having problems and scroll to the bottom of the page. There is a drop down menu, click on it and select where it says Repair DB, then press the GO button in the bottom right hand corner. Hopefully this should work.
