Regarding the complimentary space, this is a courtesy provided by Surpass to reseller clients. You purchase your reseller account, and you have your set space. You are then provided with the complimentary space to host your main domain. For example, your hosting company is thehost.com. Your cPanel account for
http://www.thehost.com is in the complimentary space, with it's own cPanel login, while all of your clients accounts are owned by thehost.com, and are inside of your reseller package. You can request that your main domain (thehost.com) be moved into your reseller account, forfeiting your complimentary space.
However, you can simply setup an account using a subdomain and utilize your larger space, with your main domain. For example, you could create a new account in WHM with the domain as
http://images.thehost.com, and you can then put your image files (or other files that you foresee using a large amount of bandwidth) into this account, which will draw from your larger quota, not your complimentary space.
