Why is that? Are there actually two installations of phpmyadmin? Seems like either link should show you your databases. But only the phpmyadmin link inside the mySQL link shows the databases.
On some of my other sites, the phpmyadmin link works fine.

for me its just phpadmin shows the tables and stuff from the databases
and mysql allows me to make users and databases
