I've merged all your threads because they follow the same line and don't need unique threads.

Now, you want to go to http://desk.surpasshosting.com and click on "Submit a Ticket" and write your request in there. Or if the link Kathleen gives you will let you send that form, do that, but last I heard that form had problems.

Support will contact you with what you have to do next though.

Yeah, but I'm a compulsive mis-typer... comes with being mildly dyslexic.

Ok. I purchased an add-on domain, now I'm having some other trouble. My add-on domain name is:

mikeware.us

My original domain name is:

warebizprogramming.com

When I created the add-on domain, it also created a subdomain:

mikeware.warebizprogramming.com

I specified a directory within my public_html folder named:

mikeware

to be the subdirectory to where my add-on domain points. However, when I attempt to load:

http://mikeware.us

It uses the redirection that I have placed on warebizprogramming.com. I want http://mikeware.us to point to the mikeware folder in the public_html directory. How can I do this?

How can you tell where an add-on domain is pointing?

enter mikeware as the username after you click on add on domains. It also creates a ftp account that points to /public_html/mikeware You also have to make sure that the domain has propagated before adding the add on domain.

add on domain setup

Ok, since my add-on domain is still now working right, can someone show me how to setup it up? Here is what you have to input for the add on domain maintenance form in cpanel:

Addon Domain Maintenance

New Domain Name:
Username/directory/subdomain Name:
Password:

I created a directory /public_html/mikeware that I want the add-on domain to point to. What do I need to specify above? Thanks for any help!
