Write an email to miguel.t>AT<surpasshosting.com He seems like a nice accommodating young fellow. Including shipping, mine was $37.00USD, $25 for the smaller drive and $12.00for FedEx.

I hope that helps.

I'd just like to register a bit of a complaint.

This was the first spot I came with a recent need for a harddrive storage for setting up a development environment. Nothing better. But you just said Paypal or Credit Card only ... do you have something against my checks? I'm not risky enough to use a debit card online, not even with paypal. And mail only takes 7 days to cross the country ... is it that hard to hold onto a drive for 7 days?

I'll probably pay my dad to buy one for me anyway, but it is still irritating to one who is getting their feet under themselves financially.

How many billions of dollars a day are processed without problems in paypal/debit/credit card transactions every day? And what's that little guarantee that almost all financial institutions offer...$0 fraud liability?

Sorry, but I don't think your age/paranoia should require surpass to change their business practices. A check means a drive to the bank, a change to normal accounting procedures, and probably more hassle than its worth.

These still up for grabs?

How much would a 200GB be shipped to NZ? Any shipping discount for +1 bought?

Also if you're scrapping the boxes, how worn are the drives? Are they likely to fail any sooner than normal drives, having been through a production server environment?
