Strangest Court Cases
So apparently there's a Judge suing a dry cleaning business because they lost his pants...
http://www.foxnews.com/printer_frien...281313,00.html One of my teachers was talking about how this robber came into a bank she used to work at and told her to give him the money. She gave them the money with the exploding ink and he stuck it in his pants, and he wound up getting third degree burns in a certain region. Then he sued the bank and won the case because the money was a safety hazard and because of the mental anguished it caused. ![]() Has anyone heard of any other strange cases? |

It's all because the dry cleaners advertised "satisfaction guarenteed" and obviously since his pants were lost, he wasn't completely satisfied. Now, in my opinion, I think advertising satisfaction guarenteed is stupid. I work in customer service and not everyone is going to be satisfied. I think satisfaction is a matter of opinion. One person might be completely satisfied and another person can find 80 faults with the same thing.
That guy is just making himself look like a "money hungry too good for you because your just trying to make a living and I'm rich enough to walk around in $500 pants and you're not, you're just slaving away at cleaning them and hundreds of other pairs" type of person.
