lust : is a strong sexual desire. According to the dictionary.

I doubt that David is "lusting" over me. I very seriously doubt that he'd marry someone that he only lusts, thats just dumb, and if you knew David... you'd know he's not a dumb person by any means.

David is not a selfish person, at all. So saying "that's a selfish definition of love." would be a very wrong accusation. David puts everyone that he loves before himself. He loves me, and I love him. There is no "lust" involved.

The two of you are way too defensive. As I said, if you had read, I'm not implying that he only "lusts" you.

If you want to get into definitions... To be sexual refers to the expression of sexual sensation and related emotional intimacy between human beings. It does not just mean a physical attraction. Did you also know that one of the definitions of love is: a deep feeling of sexual desire and attraction? Seems like it's possible to define love a lot like lust... Does that mean that your love is only a feeling of sexual desire and attraction? I wouldn't think so.

It's stupid to say that physical pain defines love. It *is* a selfish definition of love. If you are too blind to see that, well, I can't be held responsible. You should be able to love someone, and miss someone, but respect them enough not to slip into depression because they're spending a week away from you.

But hey, maybe you shouldn't be sharing these details on an open forum on the internet if you can't stand the possibility that someone out there might not blindly agree with everything you say.

I'm only defensive when someone tries to make people look bad, when they're making themselves look rude. No that does not mean that my love is only a feeling of sexual desire, because as you've stated yourself there are other definitions of the word love. Your definition is clearly not my definition. I'm sorry that love means that to you.

Also, if you've read Davids other Day threads, I don't ever rememeber David stating that the definition of love was to feel pain. He just made one statement, that you took literally, when it obviously wasn't meant to when in fact he got it from one of the other Day threads, where someone else stated that to him.

Yes, this is an open thread, you've stated your feelings on this, and you obviously don't like our feelings about eachother. Your opinion will soon be forgotten any way. After all, Thursday is comming.
