![]() The truth be told, I tend to play video games by myself. Which is one of the factors towards not buying it, since like you said, it's a party machine... very clearly since that's what it's marked as. What I might do is end up buying it, and come September leaving it at my boyfriend's house... he has people over more often then I do, and I'll probably spend most of my time there anyways... and it might prevent them from playing the dreaded Halo series (I don't play it myself and I *HATE* watching it). But I do enjoy playing games in a group... Which is why Mario Party and Mario Kart are some of my favourite games ![]() Padwin, I haven't got it yet, but I might be doing it this afternoon since I'm heading by the store that has them in stock. You're welcome to visit to play with me. ![]() |

I am running into the same kind of interest with Zelda, it really keeps your interest up as you try to figure out what you have to do next. Also, using the Wii remote to fish in the game is just too cool as well. Lately I have also been having fun playing old-school games via the Virtual Console. My favorite right now is Galaga.

Oh Zelda games... I gave up playing Zelda games back during Ocarina of Time. The way it's always been is I can play a Zelda game during the first "level" of the game... so the Light World or playing as Young Link... But as soon as it gets more difficult, that's it, I can't play anymore. So while I watched the boyfriend play through Twilight Princess (which he managed to get on the day of release even as it sold out across the province because I'm just that nice to him)... I couldn't play it myself.
My problem is just that I'm really bad at video10 games... I like to play them, but I never have the knowledge or concentration or time to beat them... I've beat all of 3 games in my life, and that happened very close to each other. Wait, it may be 4 because I think I beat the original Pokemon on GameBoy.. Either way, I like to play video games, I just can't beat them. I think I'm leaving in about an hour to get it... |

So I was all set to go get it... packed my car up and left (because I'm going to my other house for the weekend to do research at school)... and about half-way (to the store) I realized that I left my wallet at home. Which means... no driver's license, no debit card, no credit card. F***. So I ended up calling home and getting my mom to meet me half-way back home to drop my wallet off (but she was delayed thanks to a GIANT TRAIN OF DOOM THAT WAS OVER THE ROAD) and... by the time I got going AGAIN, I was an hour later, and got by the store right as it was closing. lol
I might go back tomorrow if I'm feeling motivated... |
