I want to go to the drive-in tonight, not to see Transformers but to see Ratatouille, Pirates of the Caribbean and Oceans 13... All night movies! ... ... awww wait, I just checked and they changed their schedule
They suck... Still, I don't think I'm getting out to the drive-in anyways, due to the fact that the boyfriend wants to hang out with his friends, and even though I invited them to come along, one of them has to work at like 6am tomorrow, and so they don't want to abandon him... And so I think no drive-in for me I wants to go to the drive-in! |

We like to go to our local drive-inn (one of the only one's left in Michigan) becuase it cost us less generally. It cost about $1 less per person, but the biggest savings is we bring our own cooler full of pop and snacks. That's a big savings verses buy snacks and pop at the theater.

It's significantly cheaper to go to the drive-in here... even though technically you're not supposed to bring your own food, but there is nothing to *really* stop you from doing that. For us, you get two movies for $9-12 (depending on what theater you go to, there are about... 4 in the general area depending on how far you want to drive to see what... the closest is about 10 minutes away, the furthest is about 45 mins)... which is different then spending $10.50 per movie. And of course, bring your own pop and snacks... but I'm a sucker for popcorn, so I tend to buy that anyways

Oh me too, we eat good popcorn frequently from Wesco. Our local gas station chain each year sells popcorn buckets that you buy for $6 a bucket. You get free fills all year round. We buy two each year, and by Feb, they have payed for themselves. So yes, I will eat free popcorn tonight

Aww, we need something like that!
But I'll be honest, I typically don't pay for popcorn at the movies because that's the boyfriends job. Even though the last movie we went to, I paid for the tickets AND the popcorn AND the drink AND the candy we snuck in... That was an expensive night :SMy arm hurts :'( I got a needle and it hurts! :'( |

Why did you get a needle? Needles and myself don't get along. I hate them! In fact my doctor needs to give me something to calm me down before giving blood every year.

I have, like, a full fledged phobia of needles. I am terrified of them... to the point where I physically cannot give blood unless it's absolutely necessary for a medical testing. I mean, I've come a long way from when I used to go into hysterics back when I had my HepB shots... and skipped multiple doctors appointments to avoid getting an update... But still, this one REALLY HURT. Like, BURNING SENSATION GOING DOWN MY ARM. Of course, I should note that I realize it's a completely irrational fear to be afraid of needles... but ZOMG IT HURT :'( I usually make my dad pay for making me get needles by buying me something shiny. So of course I've called him already and told him to do so, since he was out shopping anyways. It hurts :'( Not a nice Friday... and now I have to go BACK to my school (I was at the health clinic there, since it's like, convenient) because I forgot my list of books I need to get from the library... :'( |
