Can we have our signatures back?

Please? This 2 line restriction is really kinda silly. Surely a 'sig' file is not a resource issue, especially with Surmunity on it's own "superbox"...

Same here. It annoys the crap out of me when someone has a 1 line post but a 6 line sig. :/

Well, it seems that the signature limits have been expanded somewhat. I think though that they're fine now. There is no reason to have a signature that is regularly significantly longer than your posts. But if they're put longer again, I'll just turn them all off again, so I don't have to see it anyways.

Just my $.02,

If I remember correctly, the intent of limiting the signature was to tighten up post so there was less scrolling needed to read a thread. However, from my observation it seems that ~75% of post are short post. Now with avatars and statistics on the left, this makes the screen space needed more then the post would otherwise need. Therefore, most post now have white space. This seems to me that the limiting of signatures has not the desired effect. Just look at the white space in the posts in this thread.

Like I said, just my $.02. For me it doesn't matter, this is just an observation.
