FLV Web Player Recommendation?

I've been messing with that DivX for quite some time and just haven't seem to get it to do what was needed. So, I'm saving it as a backup plan.

Right now, I'm interested in a FLV player, but would liek ot know, which would you recommend? I've seen many, but do any of your know a really good one?

Thanks

On this page: http://www.markheadrick.com/dvd/300.shtml

I use this player: http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=JW_FLV_Player

I like it. And, no, I have not tried it using a php wrapper script to output the file.

Oh this page: http://www.markheadrick.com/dvd/X-Men.shtml does not use a playlist file.

I've been looking into that more recently and really do love it. Especially the open source feel of it, where the player can be customized.

The only thing I'm looking for is either (or both) of the following:

+ Quality FLV Converter (turns any video to FLV, preferably free)
+ Script for converting uploaded videos to FLV

Yes, I've seen FFmpeg, but I'm looking for something more user end, than server end. Well, like a script that doesn't involve actual installation to server (thus not use through SSH or so).

So far, nice player. I've just found some crappy FLV converters...

FFMpeg has a GUI interface on most platforms available. Otherwise you're pretty much looking at a paid solution that uses the licensed ON2 FLV codec.

There's definitely some freeware apps that are OS-specific. I'll digg up a list when I'm bored in one of the sessions tomorrow.

I appreciate it! I'll look at the GUI, as I didn't see they had one.

Ditto about JW FLV PLAYER 3.99.

I even recommended it at our company and now we are using it licensed. At 15 Euro it is a steal!

Yeah, JW FLV. Use Free Riva Encoder to do FLV encoding.

If you want a demo , check the hosting overview page. my video is using JWflv
