New work.... perhaps.
Since our little company was split up and partially taken over by a company with more money (and more vision
) I've been looking for another job. I might have found it... with the company that took part of us in. But... problem. I need to learn ASP ![]() O well. I hope to get the official word anytime soon, so I can plan on this.

ok seriously smack that company and use words like "license fees and expensive project servers" and then tell them about that neato free linux and php.

Ya know, it's not even the license fees and server costs that suck. You pass those onto the client if you're smart. In Classic ASP it's the lack of support from Microsoft, the lack of community and documentation biased towards the slower VBScript. Even at that, it's not terribly bad or anything.
