I was trying to prove that Windows was faster on a Mac. So my friend and I competed on who could boot up faster and load certain applications, and I won. But then people said not to get a mac because the superdrive jams with odd shaped CDs...

I'm surrounded by anti-mac people (mainly because microsoft hires people at the school and pays them well).

Mac before OSX was hurtin'. It's much better now that it has a kernel from BSD. Still, I'd rather just run Linux (or BSD) and laugh at both the anti-Mac and anti-PC people.

Hehe... I love my Mac, but when I saw the headline, all I could think was "who cares?". And you're right, it's the fastest they tested.... there's no reason someone could use the same hardware and get the same results in a non-Mac. Damn sensationalists!
