This has actually been standard on most of the newer servers, but it's a step in the right direction for older boxes, too.

Hopefully this isn't a silly question...

Does this mean that all shared accounts will have automatic SSL on webmail and cpanel even if we haven't paid for a static IP and an SSL cert?

If so, YOU ROCK!

It's a shared SSL that are for accounts on the shared IP.

So yes, this will affect all accounts.

i thank Removed for explaining it when he was in town. There were a few clients stating they didnt like it cause of the popup but once explained to them that this way their username and passwords wouldn't be available in plain text, they all appreciated the move.

I'm on Benz and haven't seen any change in webmail or cpanel. Was this postponed or did my box get overlooked?

We actually have not ran the scripts yet! I meant to update on this, thanks for giving this a bump. I will let you know when it's officially completed.

Still haven't seen this feature implemented on Benz... I was really pumped when you announced it, but now I think you were just teasing us. That's just not nice! =)
