I thought about trying it but one thing concerns me so far. I see the servers have 1 hard drive. I'm sorta worried about an backup option.

I'll get one if the servers are available until my next paycheck >.< Or if I have enough money remaining after today (today is when we restock our rooms with food, clothing, video games, manga, anime... and today is our drive around and explore florida day and buy stuff to send to friends)...

Bad timing on my part I guess... Save up enough money for a dedicated, then decided to spend it on friends... Now a sale... I'd buy one if I wasn't the one who scheduled and volunteered to pay for most of the stuff we do today...


Does it cost money to have to do a complete reinstall of everything...? The reason I don't have one yet is because the project I'm working on is a bit unstable at the moment and works up to a point (when I test it on a Virtual Machine, it works and then when I add new stuff, sometimes there's typos/bugs and I have to reinstall stuff and then try to fix the code).
Oh, and Debian or Ubuntu can be installed, right?

is surpass ever going to upgrade to core 2 duos? some core 2s are cheaper then P4s, you guys must have a huge stock of the old celerons and P4s left over

They do have dual-core servers, they just aren't the ones on sale. As the post says, these are ones that were in storage and not being used.

I'm so tempted to snatch one up, but I'm a bit strapped for funds having just started a new job. How long is the sale running?
