Bonsai Care

So, I'm hoping someone knows something about juniper bonsais...

I plan on keeping it indoors, and the card it came with said place in bright direct light for up to 4 hours. Does putting it next to a window count? Is it okay if it gets more than 4 hours? (one website said that it may just have to be watered more, but another one said something different)

It says to keep moist but never soggy. I read online that to water I should fill up a sink and set the bonsai in there until the soil feels moist/stops bubbling? And then to drain the sink and let the excess water drain from the bonsai.

It also suggests misting the bonsai, so would a spray bottle do?

Any other tips or advice would be nice... Wish me luck

Well, apparently 2 people from anime club know how to take care of bonsais, so they'll be helping me out. I'm talking to them tomorrow, so hopefully it's still alive then :-P

So far on my shopping list:

Spray Bottle (might use my almost empty Fabreeze bottle)
Bonsai Fertilizer
Cool looking tray with small cool looking rocks
Indoor Plant Safe Insecticide
Beta Fish
Beta Fish Tank (I'm looking for one with a place to put the bonsai )

There used to be a guy in town that sold bonsais from the back of his van. I think the cops busted bonsai man though, I haven't seen him in a while
