Cell Phone Cancer

Thoughts? Every other year I hear another report saying Cell phones cause/do not cause cancer. I'm getting annoyed at the fact that the data is as incosistent as global warming studies. There are a lot of businesses with interest in quieting the idea that cell phones cause cancer.

What are your all thoughts?

I hate hearing about this as I keep my cell phone in my pocket often. I keep things very important to me within close proximity.

Just as Mike, I'm getting sick of hearing about this. Microwaves are/were causing cancer. computer radiation causes cancer, smoking does, you can get cancer from the sun..

I hope not.. I'm around these things ALL FREAKIN day. And have been for the last 15 years..

But, they have been trotting this out every year for last 15 years. One thing I can tell you is that the power output from an old analog phone was 1.5 watts, a bag phone was 3 watts. Newer digital phones only put out .6 watts.

But what do I know.. I'm a network guy, and dont do any direct work on handsets or RF.
