Age of Conan

Well Age of Conan is released today for those who preorder!

Only problem now is the login server and the website has appeared to crashed.

Probably due to some DDOS attack from some World of Warcraft fan trying to cause Age of Conan some problems because they know Age of Conan beats World of Warcraft hands down.

I am however a Ex-WoW player. I left my char at WoW Geared in full Tier 5 and other epic end game gear. WoW was a big waste of my life, honestly.

Oh well. I'm just bored while waiting for the server to work again.

I can't say i've ever played WoW but seeing that some of my friends have like 30+ days online time in that game, I can imagine what they will think they they finally get over WoW and say, "Holy ****, I wasted literally an entire month playing that crap"...ohh welll

haha.. probably not a DDOS ... companies are increasingly underestimating the requirements to support a rapid increase in volume during a release. Companies should over compensate during a release and not have to worry about scurrying to scale which is probably what they're doing right now but it's too late.

Well they finally opened up the servers for playing however I still can't login.

I'm getting some really retarded error that has their forum spammed up to over 18 pages of people complaining about it however yet my buddy is able to login just fine.

Stupid game and I even paid for that early access bullshit too.

Never again will I waste money buying early release games from funcom.

I never was addicted to WoW nor will i get addicted to Age of Conan.

I only played WoW when it was time to raid and hardly any other time, the other half of the time my buddy was playing my char for me.

Anyways I finally got into AoC and it is pretty fun. I played for about 2 hours the other night before I went to bed.
