2 mb would have been ok for a business presence page ie an email account and a front page. i can remember seeing business directories that offered sites and people with their lack of knowledge would be paying big bucks ie 100 plus rather than 5 yr for some silly address like businessdirectory.com/~mybusiness. oh how we get that much smarter

actually i just used that old days and found an old business of mine there

That place didn't archive my website very well.. I think my use of frames messed it up. I did however find a couple useful ones. That in combination with the caching that Yahoo and Google does I was able to recover my visitor count I had on the front page. I think a server hiccup caused my script to never save the new value to the file and it started back at 0. It's like it opened the file for writing but never saved the value and closed it.

That's like twice it's happened here. I've changed my counter script a bit so I should not loose it again as it save the count value along with the referrer, date and other stuff it puts in the log file that it appends to.

I looked at my oldest archive.. not much difference LOL.

Yeah it was pretty good for 2003, looks like the other hosting sites currently. Good that the space increased too :p

Looking at the 2003 site, they used to have support of IM programs :p
