We have shared and reseller hosting plans where your account(s) will be placed on a server that holds 200 other accounts or less on an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz server, Red Hat OS. We also offer dedicated servers if you need a complete and personal solution for your website/clients. At this time we do not accept any custom plans for shared or reseller plans. We only sell those plans that are on our website. You will probably find that we have the best prices on the entire Internet for the resources that we give and for having our own data center facility. The importance of doing that is obvious. "You might have heard of the "story" that 80% or more of the web hosts are just resellers, and another 10% are just co-locating in some other data center, without direct physical access to the machines. Unfortunately, that story is plain reality." If you find somewhere cheaper that has the same benefits that we do and more affordable pricing, we will be amazed. 2. Whether you have a domain name picked out yet or have had the same one for 10 years, enter a domain name into this box.
It is not a permanent decision! We can always change the domain name for you, for free, up to 3 times before we charge you a fee for resetting the account. Some companies will charge up to $50 to do this, but hey, that's them. ![]() So in closing, the domain you enter does not have to exist yet, it could be one you want to register in a few months (if it is still available!). Just remember, you can change it. It just takes an email to us requesting it. Also note, if you are just trying out our services, feel free to put your domain name in the box. It is not going to make your site show up on our server, only changing your DNS at your domain name registrar, to point to our server is going to do that. ![]() |

3. The next step is filling out your account information and the form is very simple.
The part we want to note is that please remember what you choose for your Client Area Username and Password. The client area is http://my.surpasshosting.com This area is where you keep an email address updated, so that we are always able to contact you. You should always use an off network address to sign up for your accounts, and keep the same address active during the life of your account, if at all possible. It will ensure we are always able to contact you. Please remember to log into the client area and change your email address there, whenever you need to. ![]() |

You are presented with your account information screen and a recap of your information plus the payment information. Please do print this and keep it in a safe place, there is a printer friendly version. The main reason it is helpful to print this is so that you will always know your Client Area username and password, in order to update the email address stored there so that we are always able to contact you. Also you can resend your welcome email at anytime from within the Client Area. http://my.surpasshosting.com ![]() If you instead see a page with an order form, and NOT the above account info, do NOT go any further. Sometimes a client will see another order page instead of the invoice above, which is due to a glitch in 2checkout's set up. We cannot fix it, but it does happen very rarely. So if you do get forwarded to an order page, do not fill out any account info again or make another payment. You are already set up, so please check your inbox.
