I need inspiration!

Hey guys.

On Wednesday the 12th of May, I have to hand in my interpretation of the Tower of Babylon.

I feel like doing it in 3DSMAX (lot of work

Impossible to do in such a short period of time. Perfect for me) but I don't really know what a tower of babylon would look like. It can be anything. Futuristic, ancient, made out of goo, whatever.

Does anyone have his interpretation of the Tower of Babylon? If so, can you share it?

Are you refering to the tower of bable? where man supposedly sought to reach the gods, and when it was torn asunder each tribe of man could only speak with his own (the birth of languages)?

heh, well yeah. In Dutch it's called the Tower of Babylon :o

I'd imagine something along the lines of the tower of pisa, perhaps with a spiral twist (and maybe babylonian style columns instead of the italian arches between the tiers), rising up into clouds whereupon it's top is being blasted by lighting.
