Note to self: Construction makes sleepy
Our kitchen and hall are being rebuilt (expanded/moved slightly) and the team of construction workers started drilling and hammering at 7 AM. Still half asleep I quickly had to take a shower because they were gonna close the waterpipes afterwards.
Then I had to wait 3 hours before actually going to school, and I couldn't watch TV nor do anything with my computer because, for some reason, these machines are both on the same power group. My room is the second furthest removed from the kitchen (further away is the garden shed) Yet still there was no power there when I arrived at home at 4 PM. Now I had to get long long long cables to get power from another place in the house, which is right above kitchen but DOES have power. Not only this, but the construction workers have the most horrible music playing on their radio. Pity me? |

This is a method used by all constuctions workers. By disrupting every part of your life while they are there, they make the work they do seem to be that much better just because they are no longer there.
Brilliant, no? :dvvbash:
