A query por favor.

I'm in the market for some custom print work.

Here's what I'm looking for...
1)business cards - decent paper/ print quality
2)bumper stickters - 1-2 colors - with a simple graphic

any recommendations? any warnings?

not as concerned with price as with viability of the vendor and quality of the work.

If quality is the major concern I'd recommend you look to local printers instead of online or mail-order printers. With the local guy you can ask for references and look at paper samples. Plus if they disappoint, you can personally thump on their heads after.

I've worked at a couple print shops and don't think you'll have any trouble finding what you want. Are you planning on providing camera-ready artwork?

I like using www.vistaprint.com. Very good printing on professional looking and feeling (very important) stock. Personalize their designs or upload your own.

Bumper stickers are available from many places online. I haven't used any myself - yet.

Might the title have been the problem? :ktoe:

thanks for the advice guys.

ive heard a little bit about vistaprints elsewhere, so that's another check mark next to their name.

usually i stick with local vendors wherever possible, but this is just one of those times where they failed to impress me much.

Call John Millang at 1-800-984-9943. He's been in business for a long time. He's a good guy and does good work.

I did but I haven't been able to get creative enough for a solution yet.
