Hello.
Well the thought of a web design company has been in my mind for about 1 year now. I have really excelled at graphics and i think it is about time i get to work making a dream come reality. So, what am i up against. Is there any legal matters i should take into concideration. Is it legal for a 15 year old to start a company of this type. Is there anything i should watch out for? Any advice for me? Any general help? I am in completion stages of the web design company website. I really want this to work out. Oh and wish me luck. Best Regards, The Ish-Meister.

Up against? www.2advanced.com? lol - D/w they're like the gods.
For legal matters it will depend on your country... but: Basic legal matters would be money earned, there is so much you can earn without paying tax (UK) but i dout that will be an issue at an early stage. a 16 year old in the UK can start a Company, i.e. actually register as one, although that is impossible unless your rich or similar / friend owns a buissness (need a registered office and a secretary)...But i don't think you ment that by "company" :P another legal matter - taking on a job - I would be sure to have good and offical Terms and conditions written, otherwise i'd be a little scared lol. definatly don't use software illegally, when your doing commerical work it really will catch up with you. Watch out for people who think they're designers, they will pretty much tell you to use front page a microsoft paint to make an awsome web design. and really they're not worth the hassle, Make sure they understand THEIR failur to supply information etc.. will cause the design to not be finsihed on time ![]() errrr and not to be mean, but most web designers complain about the "small money" people, usally because they think their the designer ^ (read above) Don't add any of them to your msn address or similar, keep it to e-mails. lol |
