Going Against the Norm...
So as you can see in more then one thread around here now, this is the weekend/week for Xbox and Halo 2, right?
Well, not for me. My boyfriend decided to get cute and buy me a PS2 on the weekend, despite my protests (now I'm just going to pay him back... *sigh*). So against all the hype, I am now the proud owner of a brand new PS2, as well as Final Fantasy X (the reason I wanted the system), Dark Alliance 2, Pac-Man World 2, and HP Quidditch World Cup (which was not my choice at all, because I knew already it was a bad game...) But if you thought Xbox was big before... you have to see the new PS2. It's just... frightening how small it is. All in all, it's about 7 inches long, 4 inches wide, and an inch tall. That's right, the wires take up more room then the system itself does. It's just mind boggling. So I'm happy with my new system. Now if only school didn't get in the way...

Interesting, I wonder why Nintendo doesnt make their gamecubes small, I mean they have those half size discs, I really think they should make their system compact too.
I have a regular ps2, I normally stand it up, kinda to save space, it won't fit either way. It's kinda cool.

ummm.. gamecubes have cartriges? when did that happen? I think you are thinking of the gameboy... I confused the two the other day as well... maybe gameboy should sue for copyright infringement or something...

lol, if one more person tells me to get that game... *shakes fist*
Really though, I'm not forking over $70 for that game. Maybe once it drops in price, but I haven't played GTA since... the original? It's been a while. Or maybe once my brother finds out I got a PS2, he'll get it. ![]() I really have a price cap of about $40 on any game I get for anything, unless I really feel passionate about having it. I don't think games are worth more than that. I actually want to get some of the older PS2 games, back the first couple years or so it was released...

Rai: $70.00? Are we talking USD? The target I work at is selling them at $50.00 USD. Apparently you're shopping at the wrong place. Go to Target, contribute to my paycheck.
