How many of you...

Fool around with music making programs such as Fruity Loops or even simple ones such as the various Ejays's (Dance, Trance, etc)?

It's a good way to get free music to use on your websites... I was just wondering how many of you guys do that... or have done

Myself, I have tried to make some but couldnt get out more then a few cool sounding loops for flash videos... Oh well :P

Fruity Loops:

I'm even hosting some music for a friend of mine who is getting quite good on fruty loops (I sucked at it). You can find his tuneage here:

I'm personally not into those genres, so it's not an interest of mine, but my brother is really heavily into those programs. He uses Hip-Hop Ejay 4 & 5 I think. Think his site is http://jinglepotproductions.tk

I just checked and there's no Fruityloops installed anymore, but there's some other programs on here that look like they're using for audio. Oh well.

I used to play on ejay alot, but not for a while. but i may install it and make a little tune

A contest sounds good! People could make a little tune max 30 secs long and every 1 could vote for a winner. Or something like that

Yeah Fruity Loops looks way to complicated for me to learn. Its something that would take me some time to get the hang of.

Personally I use Adobe Audition, but don't really do much. Sometimes I'll make mellow techno beats that just pretty much loop for over an hour. Great music to snowboard to.
