I'm getting this error on my blog
This is the 2nd time I've gotten it. I put in a ticket (WWE-950971) when it first happened on March 21. They uploaded a backup for me. I haven't touched that database except to click the "repair database" button to try to fix it on my own. I re-opened the ticket.

What causes this to happen? The only thing I did, a few days ago, was upgrade WordPress to 2.5. The first time it happened was before the upgrade. All I was doing when it happened this time was writing a post.

My domain is: armymomnj.name

Never mind. I found out it must be something in WordPress itself that causes this error and I found a workaround for it here: Workaround for WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away] for different versions of Wordpress

I did what it said to do and now my blog is back! *whew*
