Slow FTP?
I just wonder why the FTP access to...
ns1026.dizinc.com ns1027.dizinc.com ...is so slow? Recent upload didn't exceed 8 KB/s. (maybe I'm doing somthing wrong) Otherwise thank you for a great service. ------------------ edit ------------------ Ok, just tried again and now it's up to 40 KB/s. Still a bit slow, but maybe this is as fast as it goes? Last edited by Henrik; April 10th, 2008 at 9:19 AM. |

Generally upload speeds are dependent on your local Internet provider. You might, however, notice a better connection using passive upload mode rather than active or auto setting in your FTP client.

It's probably related to routing, since you're in Denmark and our servers are in the U.S.

my guess is the slow speeds are coming from a combination of distance from the servers (since you are in Denmark) and your local ISP (what sort of connection are you using?)
