I hate norton.
one of my pcs got a virus and norton refused to fix it. Instead norton laid down and died so i erased it and installed a differnet anti-virus to take care of the problem. Now the IT guys at work installed a new version of norton on my PC and now I can't see some of my websites including surpasshosting.com, speedtest.net, and a bunch of other websites. Point taken don't use or buy norton. It blows. I use PC Cillian at home and it is a lot better than anything norton can offer. I'm working on the IT guys to get different anti-virus for work |

DAD...
Norton was good, at one time. Long time ago... PC's ran 286 processors... Norton Utilities was even good for Windows 3.1 But they got infected by microsoft feature bloat.... Norton360 is the worst... absolute worst... Second worst is McAfee trend micro and avast are my 2 favorites at this time.

I use and swear by NOD32, acting as a reseller also I have found that ALL machines it has been installed on run much better than with Norton or Mcaffee bloatware.

I Agree
I started out years ago with Norton on my computer and after a while of that I switched to McAfee which really bogged down my computer, making it soooo slow. This year I've switched to Trend Micro and I really like it. It keeps you safe and it doesn't make your computer run that much slower. It does take a long while to run a scan though but I try to schedule it when I'm going to be busy doing something off the computer.
