Wee!!! I'm all set up and it's very cool
I think I need to do some tweaking someone 'cause I am having a few issues, anything sound familiar? When I boot up my computer the resolution of the main (#1) screen will not be the same as when I turned off the computer. Also on the main screen I can not seem to get a good resolution choice. I had it at 1280x1040 before I added the second monitor and when I put it at that resolution now it looks stretched (square images on screen are not perfectly square) and also the fonts look chunky. Anything glaringly easy I need to check?

hmm...not 100% sure, this sometimes happens to my monitor when someone unplugs it from my comp, the resolution seems smaller and the letters look very low quality...I then restart my computer with the monitor still on and then everything gets better and back to normal. =)

I don't think that is it since the resolution changes each time I restart and I haven't been able to get the original monitor looking "nice" when I have the Nvidia dualview enabled. I think the nView Desktop Manager program is all screwed up too 'cause I tried to open it to see if there was something I could adjust to make things better and my screen started having a black bar scrolling down it until shut the program!
I just went into my Device Manager and under monitors it lists 8 monitors!! What's going on here? It has "default monitor" 4 times and then below that "Plug and Play Monitor" 4 times. I'm hoping this will get more fun by the day?

I finally changed my monitor settings and put it at the highest resolution choice that it gives me (1680x1050) and that works fine. The aspect ratio is good and the text looks smooth. Not sure why it's all funky at the other resolutions though.
Now I just need to figure out how to make it not change all the settings each time I reboot!

LCD monitors have a fixed number of pixels. Setting to anything but "native" mode will give you "poop".
So, if you have a 19" monitor that has 1680wx1050h pixel count, that's what you set the card for. Otherwise, the monitor has to "anti-alias", which blurs everything.

However I also have 4 pcs at work and of them has the problem of when it's being restarted the resolution changes for no reason and I have to switch it back. I haven't solved that issue yet. Do you have the latest video drivers installed and the latest directx? These are two things I haven't tried in my case yet. |

You should be able to control the resolution of each monitor independently if you're "stretching your desktop" across multiple monitors.
