dual monitors - what do I need to know? - Page 4

I downloaded the latest drivers from the eVGA site before I installed the card but I haven't done anything with updating directx.

Nope, my monitors are not the same size. My original monitor is a 22" and the new one is 19" (I just got the second 19" from the contest today actually). I have my 22" as the primary monitor which is set at 1680x1050, and then the 19" is set at 1280x1024. I shut down my PC when I am not using it but each time I restart the primary monitor will reset to 800x600 and the start bar will go over to the 19" monitor until I change the properties of the 22". I really have no clue but I did finally figure out how to put a different wallpaper on each one so that's fun!
