First of all the promotion hasn't started yet. Second, the free plan remains the same. It does not get upgraded.

I figured this would have been linked to in here, but I guess it wasn't. Promotion FAQS

Question What about a downgrade....

What happens to the free account if you downgrade,

I know Rai Stated:

Quote:
Surpass will have to determine this specifically, but I believe the free account will either be downgraded as well, or you won't be able to keep the account. You won't be able to maintain a free account higher then what you're paying for, just like you can't request a free account higher then what you're purchasing now.

But this answer isn't very clear... Will it be Downgraded, or will it be Cancelled? I asked earlier, but no one has answered Yet!

Thanks

If we get an account with a free one, what are the chances that they will be on the same server?
I have a reseller account somewhere else that I want to move to Surpass (I was going to do this earlier this month, but decided to wait because of the promotion).
The issue I have 2 domains that I want on the different reseller accounts. But I would like to be able to keep an equal number of resold accounts on each reseller account. Most of the accounts are on sub-domains, and that's why I'm wondering...
If not, I have an extra domain lying around somewhere ::checks under couch::

If you're using different domains for each account, and don't order the reseller, then cancel the shared and transfer your old shared domain over as the new one, then that would probably be ok.... I can't say though, that's just my idea.. As long as you're not ordering now and planning on cancelling your old one in the future, because that wouldn't be very cool.

While I don't know the answer to the question at hand, I would recommend to Surpass that it be no less than 6 months if you have another account already, simply because people will try waiting a month or two and then dumping their original plan (especially if it's the same as what they bought with the free plan). But I would also suggest waiting for Kayla or Emmanuel to clear that one up.

pushing it a little farther I would reply back with: with 30 dedicated servers why would you need to purchase a reseller account? Maybe because you're planning on getting rid of one dedicated server... hmmm just get rid of the dedicated.

I know that you were just providing an example to prove a point but it was a horrible example. -out
