You get it within 24 hours of your account being activated, I think.

Does the "void on all orders placed using TLDs previously used in conjunction with a Surpass hosting account..." thing apply to add-on domains as well?

I have a surpass shared account with a few add-on domains attached to it, and I wanted to get a new full account for one of them. I'm reading the rule as applying to add-on domains as well, but I wasn't sure because I couldn't figure out how switching an add-on domain to a new shared account would be bad for Surpass. Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure if this has been answered or not, but I'm a little confused when the promotion says, "for the life of the original account." If I purchase a plan for 1 year I'll get two plans, but what happens next year when I renew the plan? Will it renew as a 2-for-1 or will I then have to pay for both?

it means that as long as you keep the original plan you will still have the other one for free. so if you decided to renew you would technically be keeping your account,... keeping the life of the account going.

Hi,

First of all, I want to say how marvelous it is that you are doing this. It's very nice.

Now, I want to apologize. I know you probably receive a lot of repeat questions, but I sadly do not have the time at the moment to read through everything. I did read some, however, and noticed that you have been having problems with people canceling their current hosting, because the promotion only applies to "new" accounts.

My question is this - one of my 2 current accounts is expiring (the 21st I believe...) and I was planning on renewing for another year. Does the promotion also not apply in this case?

Thank you for your help. =)

^ i am not completely sure i have seen that question asked several times in this thread... what i would recommend doing is sending a ticket to support http://desk.surpasshosting.com and make sure you choose the sales department in the drop down. They will be able to give you the final answer.

Hello,

2 questions:

1) I am a little bit confused by the terms "domain name changes will be prohibited on free accounts provided via this promotion until 01/2007"
Does this appliy as well for the add-on domains?

An example:
If I setup 1 domain + 2 addons in one account (lets see the free one) and 1 domain in the other, will I be able to add addon domains to the free account later?

2) Is there the possibility to specify different administrators (name, mail, etc) for the first account and the free one that you get? or the offer is only valid if there is a single owner?

Thank you
