Ugh - upgradessurpasshosting.com is driving me insane! Can someone give me a clear answer to this question?

I have a month to month bronze reseller account which charges me $15 each month on the 16th. Today is the 14th. I am going up to the silver package to take advantage of the bonus deal.

The upgrades dept is telling me that when I pay $15 on Nov 16th, that money is payment for Oct 16th to Nov 16th. That cannot be correct, right? When I signed up for a server, I had to pay before I could get access to my account. That means I am always paying for the month that is coming. So when I paid $15 on the 16th of Oct, that is when I paid for the dates of Oct 16 to Nov 16th.

Am I missing something?

This is all a "problem" because upgrades wants me to pay the full 25 dollars today (or tomorrow) even though I only have one more day for the current month.

I do not mind paying 25 on the 16th (the day my server payment renews) but it makes no sense to pay 25 today or tomorrow AND 25 more on the 16th.

Help?

How it should work, is you will be billed a prorated amount for the rest of the month. I don't think the next month is included in that bill, but it could be.

Don't want to seem overeager, but just wondered when the extra space will be added. I got a pwer package a week ago and it hasn't been updated yet. Just wondered, as I'd like to buy another one as well and move a domain from a different host.

Thanks!

Seren, that's very odd - it is added manually by staff within about 24 hours. In this case it seems something went wrong somehow, please open a ticket for this in the sales division (with your name and domain name) and they will sort it for you ASAP.

It usually is. I purchased a reseller awhile ago to try it out and it was $20.50, for the Bronze plan. Meaning, around $5.50 for the rest of this month and $15 for the month of December. Next billing is then planned for January 2007

Hello Folks
I have a question too.... I signed up for the Bronze resller account in Nov and have got 20 gb space/500 gb bandwidth.
If I decide to upgrade to silver account before nov 30, will I get 30gb space/1000 gb bandwidth?

Secondly Kayla you have mentioned earlier to my queries that you will move my oc 5 sites to the new reseller account. However if, instead of buying a whole new reseller package, i decide to upgrade existing reseller package as described above, can you please confirm once again that you will be able to move the oc5 plan sites over to reseller account?
Thanks
PS Most of my oc5 sites expire in dec so i wont even really press for refunds.

If you bought a Bronze reseller account and used the coupon, the space and bandwidth should have been doubled already.

But now if you want to instead pay for a Silver, then yes - your account specs will be changed to the Silver + double space/bandwidth.

So if you have an oc5 plan which year is ending in December and want to move the site into a reseller account, our sales division can do that as a courtesy-

I took advantage of this deal and so should you. I got my employer hooked up, and I hooked myself up by upgrading one of my existing accounts. This may sound like a paid advertisement but its not, I am a real customer, and this is a real deal. One day remains so don't wait, who knows when this type of deal will come around again. Last I saw something like this was 2 years ago. Take advantage now!

Just opened a ticket for quick upgrade.
Hopefully it will all go smoothly.
